[Rant] I have an Epson Stylus Photo 925. I hate it. Really. It's the worst thing I own.
Every time I need to use it I have to run through the cleaning cycle because it's clogged and can't print one or more colors. The damned thing can't even print out text without trying five times and cleaning the heads three times. I know I use 80% if every ink package in the damned cleaning process. Quite often, after two or three cleanings, I will get a decent page printed but it's covered in the excess ink that was used to unclog the heads... Then the thing feeds itself three sheets of paper because it's too stupid not to I have had this printer for probably three years now and I honestly do not remember ever getting a print of a photo made without trying at least five times. I have not printed a photo of mine in more than a year because it's such a huge pain in the ass. It's the most consistently frustrating thing I own. I'm about to pitch it in the trash except I know other people who have this printer and like it. Bill Owens had it and made a print from a photo that I sent him.. it turned out great. And... I'd have to get another printer and what if it's just as bad? It could be me, after all. I might be the one. maybe I am cursed. I could mature into the bestest darned photographer in town only I can't make a print, ever. Who knows. I'm just really really mad at this printer right now.
