This is interesting enough to get me out of lurkdom.

It's clearly not an accessory filter, but something for manufacturers to
use.  I reckon that it's to do with the Bayer grid, and I suspect that
current RGB filters may have lots of neutral density to ensure their
spectral purity.  Looks like Kodak has found a way to trim some of that ND.

Does anyone know if Bayer filters are absorption filters or dichroic
filters?
