Hello Tom,

I had one fail on me in a very similar manner.  It has been a while so
having to go by recollection - I sent it in for repairs and it seems
like it was around $100 to repair it.  I believe the used price for
one now is probably in that same ballpark.

I'd say if you have really been wanting/needing the 540, you now have
the excuse.  If you have been satisfied with the 360 power, then just
get it fixed and save some money.
