I was basically working within the budget for a 540, so my options were limited. Just looking at the B&H offerings, I didn't see any significant functional differences between $40 brackets and $80 brackets. We'll see how it goes next weekend. I can always upgrade later if need be. On the other hand, this may be the only time I ever use the thing.
