In my experience things usually fail right away, or wait until they are unrepairable <grin>.
Besides this list is just like the evening news, there is no interest in good news. Seems to me the only time we do not want to hear about someones problems is when they are close enough to them that we feel we should do something about their problems, and thus make them our own.
