It's interesting how the prices of the body+lens can drop so much together. That's how I came by my E-1. I wanted the Olympus 14-54mm lens, and found one with the E-1 attached at only £100- more than the price of the lens alone.
Seems like a nice lens, based on your photos (and looks like you've discovered the rule of 3rds!). The body has always looked too bulky to me, though, for a rangefinder-type. > > Bob W and I can share 4/3 mount lenses next time I'm in London... ;-) > Absolutely. It will be interesting to see how the lens compares with the 14-54. -- Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Godfrey DiGiorgi > Sent: 19 May 2007 07:41 > To: PDML List > Subject: OT: a Panasonic L1 ... > > Watching the price on the Panasonic DMC-L1 drop lower and > lower, when > the price of the camera and Leica 14-50 lens dropped to barely $120 > more than the cost of the lens alone I decided to buy one.
