- I did not find a significant difference between the Canon 10D and  
the Pentax *ist DS in multipoint focus on still subjects. The 10D  
tracked moving subjects better.

- The K10D is on par with the Canon 10D + 20D and the Nikon D80 in  
this regard ... Just had occasion to compare them over the weekend as  
other friends there had those cameras and we spent time  
experimenting: tracking people on their bikes entering and leaving  
the hotel area.

- The DS' AF system is poor in low light by comparison to the K10D.  
The K10D has *NO* problem focusing even the DA14 accurately in light  
that requires a 20 second exposure with ISO 400 and f/5.6-8 settings.  
Neither the Canon 10D nor the Pentax DS would focus accurately in  
such conditions.
