Brendan, there is one thing you seem to be neglecting. It is purely virtual and purely immaterial - people who were shooting 35 mm gear *used* to 35 mm frame, so that full frame DSLR does not rock their boat, so to say. I for one, would love to have full frame camera just for that reason.
