Good for you, Cotty. And I have a buddy in Texas who is a Canon shooter who is saving for a 5D right now. I talk to him all the time and he's really craving the quality that he's seeing from guys on his Canon forums. I've subscribed myself to one and have seen some of this work and it blows me away. Much of it looks like MF to me. So, you'll excuse me if I don't find John's words to be wise. "Most people" will buy only what they can afford heedless of whether their images improve or not. Does this sound like something a pro would do? And while it's true that a talented photographer may make a silk purse of a sow's ear, the conudrum is, the more talented one becomes the more quickly one bumps up against the limitations of their gear. If this weren't the case, every member of this list will still be using a K1000 and 50mm f2 lens. All John was saying was that people who buy DSLR's don't buy more of the expensive, better cameras than the less expensive more modest ones. Gee, what a genius! And more people drive Fords than BMW's. And how this had anything to do with my original comment about a FF camera being a better idea than the 645D is f'ing beyond me. He was just being contrarian. Again, wise? Hardly. -Brendan ____________________________________________________________________________________ Get your own web address. Have a HUGE year through Yahoo!
