I wonder if a K1D with it's hypothetical FF sensor will even be a reality now. If they are focusing on beginners and advanced amateurs then I doubt a FF camera is on the horizion soon, if ever. Perhaps when the switch to FF becomes the norm in DSLR manufacturing maybe, but I wonder if Pentax will survive that long. This is interesting news considering the rumor posted the other day (from another forum) about the "new" cameras coming out in the fall. If they have not had an R&D program running parallel with the development of the 645D for a FF DSLR then I would call this a big blunder on their part. A full frame DSLR would sell in huge numbers vs. a MF digicam anyday...even if it were a piece of crap. I would buy one today as I'm learning to not much like the 4/3 system. I just don't see the quality in the smaller sensor even if I enjoy using the K10D. So, I would dump it in a hot minute for a FF camera that I can use all of my existing lenses on. At this point, I'm really wondering what is going on at Pentax. It may very well be a while before the reality of what is happening will be known for sure. -Brendan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
