No, obviously not. But when it happened we were able to do something about it, and we're able to learn from our mistakes. I've noticed that in the USA, on the other hand, corporate interests seem to override the interests of consumers in almost all situations where there is a clash. This doesn't just apply to food, it applies to the environment, transport, food, guns, you name it. You live in a corporate state where the interests of big business nearly always outweigh the interests of the individual.
