HDTV is realism, ntsc is fake. HDTV can take
you places you never could go. HDTV is
not aritficial. Ignoring the world is passive.
HDTV improves your life, but not artificially.
I want to see every good movie ever made and
see it in all its glory. That isnt passive.
Thats appreciation for the arts. Ditto for
music.

Do you really exchange activeness for passiveness, real life for
artificiality? greetings Markus

Not me, I would sell ALL my cameras and gear
if I had to, to keep my HDTV home theater up and running. Thats how much
it means to me. Photography is fun and enjoyable but not anywhere near
as much time is spent on it as HDTV is for me. To each his own. I spend
about 3-4 hours a day with my home theater, hardly even remotely close
to that using cameras or taking photos. jco
