YOU ARE CRAZY - its much better to have all your
cameras matched as to metering sensitivity
with the exposure compensation set to ZERO.
I didnt suggest removing exposure compensation,
I suggested a global metering sensitivity
adjustment INTENTIONALLY buried in a custom
setting or menu so it couldnt be accidentslly
changed so you could adjust all your cameras
for the same and CORRECT metering sensitivity
with exp comp set to ZERO.

No. It would accomplish the same thing as exposure comp in a more
difficult manner. Exposure comp works fine. The D always tended to
underexpose a half stop. Based on my first 700 frames or so, the K10
appears to be right on.
