Some modern ink-jet printer gamuts well exceed the gamut of sRGB on the right papers and many don't fit the Adobe RGB gamut either, a case of the tail wagging the dog. The optimum print results are generally obtained by preserving image files in a wide gamut colourspace and using device/paper specific profile to print. -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
