I agree heartily. It's one of the reasons I came back to Pentax (Despite 
being a long-time Nikon guy who made a brief foray over here with the 
*istD). The Pentax's just feel 'better sorted' UI-wise than the lesser 
Nikons. The only Nikons I find as seamless to work with are the D200 and 
D2's. The D50, D70 and D80 are just not as polished UI-wise.

That said, pentax didn't get everything right, especially the flash 
controls on the Fn menu on the K100 (Which are useless, 4 options to 
choose from and all they do is turn Red-Eye on and off).
