I could have said the same until the middle of last year. Then some jerk in France claimed he didn't receive a shipment from me. PayPal deducted the money from my account without any notice. I didn't even know there was a problem until I went to pay for some things in a store with my PayPal debit card and the card was declined. I provided PayPal with proof of delivery several times but never could get them to put the money back. I finally gave up and started a new account, this one not linked to my bank.
