The "Datebk6" software that I am running (from Pimlico software) has an option under the menu to purge all items prior to a user-entered date. Datebk6 won't even RUN on your Handera, but you might look into his Datebk3,4 or 5 software - according to the website they ALL have the "selectable purge date" (All of his stuff works in a demo mode for at least 15 days, so you can try before you buy.) The best answer, of course, is to upgrade to something a little more modern. :-) I've gone from Pilot->PalmPilot Pro-> PalmIII-> Sony Clie' -> Kyocera SmartPhone 7135 -> Treo650. The Treo is really really cool - and fast. Further, it's got non- volatile ROM so if your battery craps out (which mine has never done) it doesn't take all of your data with it. And it syncs using USB instead of the dead-slow serial port. Just a thought. But look into the Pimlico software and see if they let you purge from a certain date without having to play games with setting dates back on PCs and Palms. That just sounds like a recipe for disaster! -Charles -- Charles Robinson [EMAIL PROTECTED] Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
