Straying far from photography for the moment: I have a handheld (a HandEra 330) running Palm OS 3.5, and I have Palm Desktop 4.1.
My handheld has almost 10 years of datebook data on it, so it's getting slow to sync and search. Unfortunately, the "purge" options allow one to preserve at most a month's worth of data, and I need a minimum of a year's worth (preferably 3). Soooooo.... It occurred to me that I could try activating the Purge function with (1) my handheld's clock set back to 3 years ago, or (2) my desktop's clock set back to 3 years ago, or (3) both. Would one of these maneuvers work without undesirable side-effects? Has anyone tried anything else?
