For those of you thinking of getting ColorVision products for color management (Spyder and/or PrintFix) I can say that they have the best customer service I've ever encountered.
I was having a helluva time building profiles for my Epson 4800 (brand new to this stuff) and the help I received was phenomonal. Some of you who already use the ColorVision products may already know of David Miller, one of their software guys (he's a regular contributor to the ColorVision group on Yahoo). Anyway, he's a great guy and his professionalism and dedication is really outstanding. He helped me with every aspect of my profiling and measuring. A very meticulous fellow, he totally embraced the challenges I was having and took great interest in helping me solve my issues. I plan on telling his bosses @ ColorVision how pleased I was with his help. It turned out my spectrocolorimeter was a dud and as soon as he figured this out from my measurements (at the same time filtering out the occasional "user error" in my methodology... my term, not his) he expedited me another one.
