Dear All:

While I am jealous of everyone who's getting his or her K10D, it'll
be a while before I am able to afford one (or hide it from my wife).

I have an *istD with the grip. I've noticed that if the grip shutter
is on, I can't control the dial that sets white balance or aperture
setting; so if I want to take a vertical shot in hyperprogram, I have
to turn the grip off, set my aperture, then turn it back on. Is this
a quirk of the way the grip takes control of certain settings of the
camera, or is this something I should worry about?

The almost uncontrollable impulse to buy the K10D notwithstanding, I
have to say that after taking over 15,000 shots with the *istD, I'm
still impressed with and am learning new things about it all the time.

Thanks,

Micah
