but who is the leather-jacketed gypsy swinging ith snake hips between
the poles to collect the money and chat up the girls, with their candy
floss and giggles? And who is the fat sweaty man reeking of
cigarettes, sitting in the booth and counting the cash with his
stained, plump fingers into an old leather cashbag? 

Come on, Bill, you can't throw incomplete metaphors & analogies around
like that, it's not scientific.
