Thanks for that, it does look pleasingly sharp with good definition. I can't see any CA in those images. I've used the K 18 on most of my manual focus cameras without problems and more recently on the MZ-3 with good results. I'm just trying to avoid purchasing the 18-55 kit lens with the K10D or looking for a reasonably wide lens too soon after purchase of the camera body. I agree fully with your views regarding the usefulness, it's very compact for it's size and reasonably fast at f/3.5, I was always more than happy with the lens when using film.
