I say You're both wrong then. ANSWER MY QUESTION : Have you ever had a zoom lens that was not easier to focus accurately at the long end compared to the wide end? I HAVE NOT. EVERY single one of them is/was easier to focus accurately at the long end. Now if you can understand what that means I think you will understand what I am talking about. This type of uncontrolled test the WR performed is too easy to make a mistake, whereas a constant aperture zoom makes it very easy to compare quickly before your visual memory can allow an error to occur. jco
