It makes a difference because if you didnt say you used a 35mm lens in your original post you could be saying you did now just to save face when you didnt at the time of the original post. There is no doubt, the slower or wider a lens gets, the harder it is to manually focus on any SLR camera with a general purpose finder. The image has more depth of field in either case which makes it harder to focus. jco
