I think not.

Yes.

Yessir. I agree.

Okay. I understand that.
However, I do believe that no-one expects that the Chief of Surgery at
John's Hopkins will be evaluating his plantar wart removal!
Nice, but probably unnecessary.

If we're talking about a world famous photog, who is submitting this for
his Nobel Prize in photographic imaging, that's one thing, and even the
most minuscule corrections will be welcomed...maybe even necessary.

But does your even above-average image maker give a hoot that his
"something or other" is 2 percentage points off straight up?
And, even if it WAS, would anyone else but the person giving the
critique even notice? Even when it was laboriously pointed out to them?
Prolly not.

Yessir. Of that I have zero doubt. Give praise where praise is due.

I don't think so. What I mean is, I don't think they should. They'd be
fools to do that.

Yup. Understandably so.
Just like after spending a long time reviewing all these impressive
images by our PDML contributors, I feel seriously inadequate!
The longer I look, the less inclined I am to submit anything at all.
I'm not 1/4 the photog I once was, a long time ago, and it's obvious
when I look at all these offerings, critiqued or not! ;-)

Many thanks for your careful comments to my incautious statements.
You're a gentleman. Thanks for that.
