Normally Japan gets the first shipments. Back in the 60's they sold in Japan for a year, then in Europe for a year, and then the third year they were available in the US, of course by then they had announced the new model. B&H etc have probable already sold out their first couple of shipments, so it will be Dec before they can deliver to new orders. Glad I can not afford a new camera, and do not have to get all emotional about things like this <grin>.
