It helps if like you the shop is in a large centre and easily
accessible, I used to be in the same situation except that my
favourite camera shop was seven floors below. Now it's just as easy
for me to buy from a shop 1000km away or even from the US (and
probably cheaper) than to make my way into town and be faced by people
who most often don't have a clue what I'm talking about.
