Been working my way through the photos from my trip. I'm almost through all of them for a first pass picking out the "interesting" ones to look at.
A couple of thought have come to mind ... - Limiting myself to three primes was a very good thing. I think my keeper ratio is up by a factor of two over last year. Next year I'll do something very similar. Carrying too many lenses, too many options, does not net better work. - The DA21, FA35 and FA77 are *all* superb lenses. I'm very glad I went Pentax. No one should be worried about the DA21 in particular ... it is a stunning lens. - I've learned a lot in the past year about how to go about sorting and selecting work, using the tools to my advantage. The difference is dramatic enough that I'm going to reorganize my 2005 photo library and set it up to go through again like I'm doing now with the 2006 work. - The photos I took this year are very different from last year. My work is changing. All very encouraging stuff. Gotta keep plugging at it... Godfrey -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
