Interesting reading. Thanks for your time, Godfrey. In my fiml days I used to throw the scanned TIFFs to a folder with a meaningful name (like 'Paris May 2001'), and then the processed pictures went in sub-folders.
Now, in the digital age I just create a folder with a date every time I download from the card...but then I became addicted to Picasa and its full view in order to find a picture. This is not the way. I still heven't done a 'real trip' since I have the DSLR though, so I still haven't had the need for multiple downloads for a sigle day.
