As others have mentioned, the Lowepro CompuTrekker AW is excellent for this. The backpack layout makes it a cinch to carry through a busy airport and crowds, and I have had no problems at all using it for carryon. For a shoulder bag oriented carrying arrangement, the Lowepro Stealth Reporter 650AW is worth a look too.
There are a LOT of choices in this general vein from Lowepro, Tamrac, Domke, Kata, Billingham, and others. I like these too: Domke F802 or F804 Reporters Satchel Tamrac 469 - Photo Messenger 9 Tamrac 5261 - CyberPro Flyer Godfrey On Oct 22, 2006, at 10:11 PM, rodney almodovar wrote: > I've just recently taken a trip without my partner which meant I > couldn't shove my laptop/charger into his carryon while I lugged the > camera in my carryon.
