Yes, they were, but they were also distinctly less capable than the 10D 
and later from a camera standpoint, using AF units and such from the 
Rebels and the early Elan's rather than the better units in the 10D and 
later.

In fact the only differences between the 10D and D60 are on the camera 
side of things, the actual output is essentially indistinguishable.
