If when changing size the moire comes and goes, then it's not the image
itself but, rather, the combination of the screen resolution and how the
image interacts with at, as Bruce has suggested.  You must always view the
images @ 100% to fully appreciate the content.  At least that's been my
experience.  There are some pics of mine that look (and print) great from
the full rez TIFF or PSD files, but once changed to JPEG, or viewed at less
than 100%, they look relatively awful, especially if the are photos that
contain lots of fine detail.
