I have the Vivitar Series 1 70-210/3.5, version one. It's a very fine lens. And it's a tank. Although the Vivitar S1 is far better build quality, the Pentax DA 50-200 is more than its equal in terms of sharpness and contrast. For a thirty-five year old zoom, the Vivitar is amazing.
