Thanks for sharing Walter.  I'm just beginning to figure out how to use the 
thing. Big learning curve but I'm finding simply that experience is the best 
teacher.

I'm using a 12" LX200 SCT.

I'm hoping to take alot of short, maybe 10  - 15 sec exposures, and stack 
them to avoid tracking errors and field rotation (don't have a wedge yet).

Tom, here is a sample of one I shot a couple years ago of Comet Neat Q4 next
to the Beehive (M-44). It was taken with my ZX-5n and a 350mm f/5.5 T-mount
lens. I think the exposure was only a few minutes on iso 800 Fuji Color Neg
film.  I had a C-8 on a CI-700 mount then to guide with. Now I have a much
smaller mount and a 5" f/6.5 refractor. It may be good enough to trach for a
few minutes. Might give it a try in the morning if it clears up!
