Thanks for sharing Walter. I'm just beginning to figure out how to use the thing. Big learning curve but I'm finding simply that experience is the best teacher.
Nice photo. I'm using a 12" LX200 SCT. I'm hoping to take alot of short, maybe 10 - 15 sec exposures, and stack them to avoid tracking errors and field rotation (don't have a wedge yet). It was taken with my ZX-5n and a 350mm f/5.5 T-mount lens. I think the exposure was only a few minutes on iso 800 Fuji Color Neg film. I had a C-8 on a CI-700 mount then to guide with. Now I have a much smaller mount and a 5" f/6.5 refractor. It may be good enough to trach for a few minutes. Might give it a try in the morning if it clears up! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/newtmaker/NeatQ4.jpg -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
