What amazes me is that here in Brisbane they have, in the last two years, re-routed the flight-paths from the airport so that planes approach and depart right over the nearby suburbs, instead of heading out over the bay next door to the airport. Given the chances of anyone on the ground surviving having an aircraft dumped on them is pretty well zero, and the possibility of another 9/11 incident, that seems pretty dumb to me.
