It seems to me that if you use a zoom the way to maximize
The shake reduction function would be to input the nominal focal
Length (about 120mm on a 70-210mm zoom) not the longest
Focal length because it would minimize the focal length error.

According to page 49 of the K100D's manual, you'd set it to the long end
of 
the zoom, or the closest option the camera provides (in this case,
200mm).

I wasn't sure, so I looked it up.  Makes sense to me.

P.S.: I think someone needs to make an all-inclusive Pentax Wiki,
