Honest question: Isn't that the same thing as saying "The K-mount era?" I ask because in my mind, the change from top quality Taks and budget Taks occurred when the switch was made to the K-mount. Then the SMC Pentax took over as top dog in the quality department, chronologically. Isn't that transformation when the Takumar name was resurrected? I'll welcome support or refutation...
