The same was certainly true of that Leica gathering, I'm sure. I  
suspect that I simply went with the wrong assumptions: that we were  
supposed to be taking photographs and conversing about the  
photographic endeavor rather than celebrating equipment. I carried  
just my M4-P and a 35mm lens, half a dozen rolls of film and a light  
meter.
