Not really. It would kill the market for their low-end IS lenses, but the high-end ones are intended for their high-end bodies, which have sensors that really are too large for in-body stabilization (Full-frame sensors would likely exit the images circle when working in this fashion). Also in-lens IS is somewhat more effective than in-body SR. Call it about a stop of difference. Which is probably worth it for a working pro, but not for a consumer.
