Kodak has announced that they will stop developing Kodachrome 40 (as they have already stoped producing it). The last chance of getting a Kodachrome Super 8 film deveolped in Lausanne is sometime next month. http://www.super8site.com says:
Wie lange können K40-Super-8-Filme in Lausanne noch entwickelt werden? Super-8-Kodachrome-Filme werden noch bis ende September 2006 in Lausanne entwickelt und müssen bis 25. 9. im Labor eintreffen. I'vejust been looking around the Kodak web site (http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/products/prodSupportIndex.jhtml ) Under the "Films" heading there's a listing for "Color Transparency Films: E-Family" (Ektachrome) but nothing for the K family (Kodachrome). If you follow the E-family link you go to a page with a menu that *does* include "KODACHROME Professional Films", which is a link to a page with only one film: Kodachrome 64. I note that each of the Ektachrome films has its own page with a sample photo and glowing descriptions of the film's desirable qualities. The buried Kodachrome page just has a few lines of text. It really looks as if Kodak wishes Kodachrome would just go away. -- Mark Roberts Photography & Multimedia www.robertstech.com 412-687-2835 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net -- No virus found in this incoming message.
