The old "pre-DSLR" method: Squeeze.... wait.... click. I don't miss it! Taking group photos with a cheap digicam, I'll count down the time to the click. "3.... 2..... 1...." I'll have the shutter button at the halfway point by 3 and by "1.... go!" it'll be safe to hit it. Nice image, BTW.
