Yup. :-)

In eons past, I did a lot of such stuff as a newspaper stringer. It  
was always 1 chance in a hundred that a picture of mine would get  
picked, but I did get four or five into the papers. Nothing of any  
note, sadly. People who make a living as stringers a) do a LOT of  
ambulance and police chasing, b) shoot a LOT of this stuff, and c)  
have a well established relationship with editors and public service  
personnel which affords them insight into where things are happening  
and what kinds of photos will tickle the buying reflex of a given  
paper's editorial staff.

It's a good shot. I'd have liked to see a few more angles and some  
tighter cropping.
