Hi Shel,

the entire letter should be read with big smileys at the end of each
sentence :-D

ofcourse its enough to just know the kids are playing some kids games
its not important to know exactly what they're doing.
it is my curiosity (I am fairly curious, generally speaking).
I could use my imagination.... maybe marbles in this case.

agreed.
facts regarding limitations noted - that it was a prime lens, and just a
quick shot from within the car.

I mentioned about getting closer/zooming in/crop because the subject line
reads 'kids in the street'. And the pic opens up with the header 'kids
playing in street'.
for me, it looked like we need to get more of that (kids playing in the
street) and less of the other stuff (like the house on the side, some of the
foreground, and sky on the right upper).
my crop would thus be just a wee bit beyond the tree - allowing it to make a
border, just a bit above the bushy tree on the right - eliminating part of
the sky, and less of the foreground.

please note: the above are just immediate 'gut feeling' observations on
quickly viewing the pic. I thought of the degree of crop/zoom and all other
answers only after you specifically asked. these ofcourse, may not make good
sense as I have not done much street photography.

:-)
regards,
Sridhar
