Make that some people tend to prefer. However digital has become so 
prevalent that it is becoming the norm most people expect.

Someone asked about what "Cartoon Effect" is. This is it. Monotone 
colors that look like they have been airbrushed on, a lack of tiny 
irregular details, go with oversaturated colors, and a not very 
realistic look. It can be toned down with careful work, but side by side 
most experienced darkroom workers can tell the difference immediately.
