I've just tried changing battery brands, from Energizer to Duracell. The
Duracells lasted two weeks before showing half-full, and are going on charge
now. The Energizers I replaced then with had been fully charged two weeks
ago, and immediately showed only half-full!
I come to the conclusion that, whereas John reckoned two weeks, my
experience is one week is about as long as I can rely on them to hold a
charge. It could be my charger's crap, so I may have to get a more
powerful/reliable unit. I recall mention of a LaCie charger being well
thought of: I'll have to see if they are available in Oz.
