Michael, this is very weird -
My mail thing wouldn't let me hit reply when I got this
email and stayed in a "you haven't read me" mode even though
I had read it. This was true with two of your posts...
I had to cut and paste and start new mail to include it.
anyway -
I dont remember whose pic I was trying to see - it was
someone on list - fairly recently -
and it asked me to log on.... so I got out of there. I
don't know that I haven't been there
before with no problem or not - can not remember much in
general these days. Maybe I stumbled
on one that shomeone marked private unintentionally.
and of course I raise a very high hand in favor of PUG - but
yes people should try to
send things that they feel themselves to represent their
best efforts. Like someone else
said, i try not to send anything to PUG that I don't think
is good - although I may not
be correct in feeling they are :)

By mentioning Flickr, I certainly didn't want anyone to
consider that I was
advocating strict competition for PUG. It's just a tool that
I use and that
I think could be helpful for Adelheid, if she so chooses. I
mean, Flickr is
pretty fun the way everyone can link to one another
everywhere.
As for logging into Flickr to see photos, I've never had
that issue with
seeing public photos.
It's only for users that mark their pictures private,
