We once had a thread about our first cameras. I mentioned that I bought
mine when I was ten years old from a camera store called Erler's on
83rd and Stony in Chicago. Tonight I received the following message.

My name is Sandra Lechner and my maiden name is
Erler. I was doing a search on my paternal
grandfather's name Cash Erler and came across a
message site for Pentax (I think) where mention buying
a camera in 1958 from my grandfather's studio. By that
time, it may have been my Uncle Ray who was running
the show.
I found your story to be interesting.
