Judging a once monthly contest would be too much like a job. This is supposed to be fun. I haven't contributed to the PUG lately because I haven't had anything that I've felt was even close to good enough according to my current standards. Some people on this list don't contribute because they may not know that the PUG exists, or they may be afraid that our panel of non-existent judges will reject their work. Some simply forget the deadline until it's too late. If you go back and look at some of the early PUGs you'll find that a number of them had very few contributions, and not all were sterling. The PUG is a self selected gallery, which has highs and lows. The only way it will die is if the people who run the server decided to kick us off.
