Can't explain why, but i like it very much. I agree the noise on the
ist is pretty good at hi iso.
I didi the same thing Thursday with the D200 and my print came out fine.

I accidentally shot this at 1600 ISO, and was surprised at how noise-free
the results were. The full rez PEF looks surprisingly sharp and clean
