Not my most used lens, but it gave me my highest percentage of images that I loved. I took it out again last summer for some b&w shooting. Both it and the FA 35 are excellent lenses. The tradeoff is versatility vs. speed, as of course you know. We can't tell you that one is better than the other. They do different but overlapping things. Each is quite good for its intended purpose. One consideration might be that we don't know how long these will be available. If I wanted both of these I would stretch myself to get them both now. It is possible that there is a forthcoming DA 30 F?? prime. I don't know if you are in the market for DA lenses. If this lens does materialize (it is a logical addition to the lineup), I'll bet the FA 35 will be discontinued. Joe
